A family that prays together, stays together. Usually over weekends when free time is available, well-balanced families get together and do recreational things together. They go out together too, whether to the movies, or the mall, or out into the countryside for a drive and a bit of site-seeing. Or visiting grandma in the woods, especially if she’s feeling ill or down. Or she has gone and lost her dentures again.
It is probably still lying under the sofa before she snoozed off in front of the TV again. And that’s another thing. Good folks and their well-behaved kids watch shows together just before homework and bedtime. And they do not eat in front of the TV either. They sit at the dining table, break bread together, talk about the day while enjoying a hearty meal together.
Because someone has to work, either mom or dad will be taking the kids to the family dentistry monrovia clinic for their annual dental exam. The hearty meal that mom fixed the night before was probably a healthy meal too. Because she knows what growing kids need to eat. Good food with lots of vitamins and plenty of roughage from no less that five different vegetables on the plate. Now, that’s enriching!
It is also pleasing for the dentist. Not that he minds doing the work, but this sort of family-based attitude just simply makes his job easier. It makes up for all the other times that he has had to drill it in to other folks and their kids just how important it is to brush their teeth thrice a day, not forgetting to gargle and floss. And don’t forget to have a chat with the receptionist on your way out to schedule the next appointment.
